Lewis Padgett, whose real name was Henry Kuttner had been responsible for some of the greatest science fiction stories during the "Golden Age" of F&SF in the forties and fifties (1940's - 1950's) and has had quite a few of his stories turned into televison science fiction as well as a few movies, including "The Last Mimsy" and "The Twonky," which are available in the archives or Amazon as well as influencing to a great extent the writings of many science fiction authors, including "Ray Bradbury" who gave him great credits...
Together with his wife, C.L. Moore they wrote tons of stories, were included in many books and paperback issues and using many pseudonyms in their writing, can be found in many of the pulp and SF magazines featured in the "Internet Archive's" paperback section... look for them and read them, they will open your eyes to what GOOD Science Fiction could be!
I'd like to add, there is another Kuttner find in TOT...
